The High Museum of Atlanta’s annual Wine Auction was held earlier this Spring and once again Event Rentals Unlimited and Tents Unlimited played a major role in the production at this fantastic fundraising event! This yearly auction event has garnered national acclaim since it’s inaugural year in 1993. We’re honored to once again play an important role during this key fundraising event and are honored to have built an outstanding relationship with Atlanta’s leading museum. At this year’s auction our companies provided: tents, chairs, tables, china and glassware, all of which had our client and the event guest’s extremely pleased!
The High Museum of Art Wine Auction is the largest fundraising event for The High Museum of Art, which is widely considered as the leading art museum in the Southeastern United States and an important institution in the City of Atlanta. Beginning in 1993, this event has grown quickly, and is now the 8th largest wine auction in the United States. Over a hundred wineries and countless restaurants participated in this year’s exciting event where attendees bid against one another at extremely high-stakes. Back in 2007, stakes were so high, the winning bidder handed out $90,000 for the ‘Paul Hobbs experience in South America’, which is the highest winning bid for the auction to date. The Auction has hosted 1,378 vineyards and restaurants who have benefited immensely from the event. Over a million dollars is raised each year for the auction and the proceeds play a vital role for the Museum’s exhibition and education plan.
